Walking and Mountain Biking

• Walking: the valley offers numerous walks for all abilities. A days walk can be undertaken with the aid of cable cars to avoid the hard climb up or down. Walks with great views of Mont Blanc can be undertaken from Les Houches or for other stunning views of the surrounding mountains take the Montenvers train or the Aiguille du Midi (as far as Le Plan) or for great views of the Mont Blanc range take the Brévent cable car and walk to Flégère. Paths are wide and well marked and have mountain lodges for lunch along the way.
• Mountain biking: the slopes of Les Houches offer various itineraries for mountain biking. Bikes can be rented locally and professional guides are available to maximise your downhill runs.
