• Montenvers Train and the Mer de Glace: take the train up to Montenvers for views of the Mer de Glace glacier, the Chamonix Aiguilles (including the often painted Dru), visit the ice grottos, the museum of alpine fauna, have lunch at the recently restored Grand Hotel du Montenvers or meet skiers here at the end of the Vallée Blanche.
